PDF to image converter

Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 September 2026

These terms govern your use of PDF to image (https://pdf-2s.com, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service is

The Service is a free web page that converts the pages of a PDF file into PNG, JPG or WEBP images and packages them into a ZIP archive for download. The conversion is performed by software running in your own web browser. We do not receive, process or store the files you convert.

There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no charges. The Service is supported by advertising.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you convert and for having the right to convert them. Do not use the Service with material you are not permitted to reproduce, and do not use it in any way that breaks the law in your jurisdiction.

You also agree not to:

  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the servers hosting the Service;
  • redistribute the Service as your own, or misrepresent its behaviour to others;
  • interfere with, obscure or artificially interact with the advertising that funds the Service.

Availability

The Service is provided on an as-available basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or that it will work in every browser.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that every PDF will render correctly. PDF is a large and loosely implemented format, and documents using unusual fonts, encryption, or non-standard constructions may convert imperfectly or fail to convert at all. You should check the output before relying on it, especially for printing, legal or archival purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because conversion happens entirely in your browser and your files are never transmitted to us, the handling of your original documents and of the images produced from them remains your responsibility. Keep your own backups of anything important.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Third-party content

The Service displays advertising supplied by third parties and contains links to third-party websites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Your dealings with any advertiser or linked site are between you and them.

Intellectual property

The design, text and code of the Service belong to its operator, except for third-party components used under their own licences. You retain all rights in the files you convert; we acquire no rights in them, and could not, since we never receive them.

Privacy

How information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it informally.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with its date shown at the top. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
